Following consideration of the Environmental Assessment and the Submissions Report, the Minister for Planning approved the Richmond Line Duplication project in October 2009.
All works for the Richmond Line Duplication project will be undertaken in accordance with the Conditions of Approval set by the Minister for Planning and any additional requirements set by other determining authorities.
The Conditions of Approval include stringent monitoring and compliance requirements for construction. They also provide clear guidance on the processes required for community liaison and environmental management.
