Environment

By expanding the rail network and improving access to public transport, the projects TIDC deliver will provide considerable long-term environmental benefits to Sydney.

They will reduce the reliance on cars, helping to improve air quality and ease traffic congestion.

Careful planning, design and management of construction activities will help to minimise environmental impacts.

For detailed information on our environmental management systems and initiatives, follow the links on the homepage to the project that interests you and then go to the Environment section.
