The Epping to Chatswood Rail Link commenced operations on Monday 23 February 2009. It provides rail access for the first time to the growing North Ryde/Macquarie Park area. The service is now fully integrated into the CityRail network as part of RailCorp's new timetable. The new link has increased the capacity and improved the reliability of the CityRail network.
